Mehmed Pasha Kukavica Mosque(Opens in a new window)

Mehmed Pasha Kukavica Mosque (Bosnian: džamija Mehmed-paše Kukavice) was one of five mosques in Foča town, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which typologically belonged to a single-space domed mosques with open exterior portico. It was located in Gornja (Upper) čaršija (Foča's old town), and completely destroyed during Bosnian War. Built in 1751 it was a part of the architectural ensemble consisting of the mosque, medresa (completed in 1758), clock tower and hammam (Turkish bath), all endowments of Foča born Mehmed-paša Kukavica, one of the most prominent Ottoman governor of Bosnia.

Sutjeska National Park(Opens in a new window)

The Sutjeska National Park is a national park located in Bosnia and Herzegovina Established in 1962, it is Bosnia and Herzegovina's oldest national park. It includes the highest peak of Maglić at over 2386 m, on the border with Montenegro. The Montenegrin part of Maglić massif in the park has also formed the Trnovačko Jezero (Trnovačko Lake). The Strict Nature Reserve “Perućica”, one of the last two remaining primeval forests in Europe, is part of the park. The park is also famous as being the location of the Battle of the Sutjeska in 1943 during World War II. It is an affiliated member of EUROPARC Federation.

Skakavac Waterfall, Perućica(Opens in a new window)

Skakavac waterfall (Bosnian, Serbian and Montenegrin: Vodopad Skakavac, Водопад Скакавац) is formed on the Perućica, a mountain creek, in Perućica primeval forest, which is regulated as a Strict Nature Reserve as part of Sutjeska National Park in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is one of the highest waterfalls in the country, at about 75 m in height.
