Rodney Bay(Opens in a new window)

Rodney Bay is a bay on Saint Lucia; it is along the northwestern coast of the island to the north of Choc Bay. It is named after British naval officer George Brydges Rodney. Admiral Rodney won many battles against France by using a Fort built at Pigeon Island - which is the outer boundaries of Rodney Bay- to view any movements in France's naval base in Martinique. On a cloudless day, one can clearly see Martinique. The Fort remains in pristine condition at Pigeon Island and still has many cannons positioned, as if ready for battle.

Anse La Raye or Anse-La-Raye is the largest town in Anse la Raye Quarter, Saint Lucia. It is located on the island's western side, near Marigot Bay, and has several examples of French and English colonial architecture.

Castries Market(Opens in a new window)

The Castries Market and Vendor's Arcade is the largest open-air market in Castries, Saint Lucia. It is located in the middle of the capital and has over 300 regular vendors and a hundred or more local sellers on market days.

The Pitons are two mountainous volcanic plugs, volcanic spires, located in Saint Lucia. The Gros Piton is 771 m high, and the Petit Piton is 743 m high; they are linked by the Piton Mitan ridge. The Pitons are a World Heritage Site 2909 ha in size and located near the town of Soufrière.
