Bukovel(Opens in a new window)

Bukovel is the largest ski resort in Eastern Europe situated in Ukraine, in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast (province) of western Ukraine. The resort is located almost on the ridge-lines of the Carpathian Mountains at elevation of 900 m above the sea level near the village of Polianytsia (Yaremche municipality) (about a half mile away). It is one of the most popular ski resorts in the Ukrainian Carpathian Mountains and is situated 30 km southwest of the city of Yaremche. In 2012 the Bukovel was named the fastest-growing world ski resort.

Avanhard (Cyrillic: Авангард) is a ski resort and a main sports base for Olympic preparation in the town of Vorokhta, Ukraine. It is the biggest out of five still operational ski jumping facilities in the country and one of three located in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. Vorokhta is frequently associated with the resort and the resort is often referred to simply as Vorokhta or as the "Ramps of Vorokhta" (Ukrainian: Трампліни у Ворохті).

Carpathian National Nature Park is the first national park of Ukraine and one of the biggest national parks of this country.

The Zhenetskyi Huk (Ukrainian: Женецький Гук) or the Huk waterfall is located on the Zhenets' river about 9 km from Tatariv village, Nadvirna Raion, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast in western Ukraine. the waterfalls height is 15 m.
