Jenjarom, Malaysia

Jenjarom (Chinese: 仁嘉隆) is a town located in the Kuala Langat District of Selangor state in Malaysia. Around 95% of the 30,000 residents are Hokkien Chinese and the Hokkien dialect is the main language used locally (although Malaysian Mandarin as well as the national language, Bahasa Malaysia are widely spoken by its multi-ethnic residents from three main ethnicities acting as a lingua franca). The town also administered by the Zones 9, 10 (Chinese) and 6 (Malay) of the Kuala Langat Municipal Council.

Seri Wawasan Bridge(Opens in a new window)

The Seri Wawasan Bridge is one of the main bridges in the planned city Putrajaya, the new (2001) Malaysian federal territory and administrative centre. This futuristic asymmetric cable-stayed bridge with a forward-inclined pylon has a sailing ship appearance, accented at night with changeable color lighting. The bridge, also called Bridge No. 9, crosses Putrajaya Lake, an artificial lake made to provide natural cooling, and connects Precinct 2 on the Core Island, where the main government buildings are located, to the residential area of Precinct 8, 9.
