About Mokopane

Mokopane, officially renamed from Potgietersrus in 2003, is a town in the Limpopo province of South Africa. The village Vredenburg was established by the Voortrekkers and renamed Piet Potgietersrust after the slain Voortrekker leader Piet Potgieter.
