Shihmen Dam(Opens in a new window)

Shihmen Dam (; also spelled Shimen or Shihman) is a major rock fill dam across the Dahan River in northern Taoyuan City. It forms the Shihmen Reservoir, Taiwan's third largest reservoir or artificial lake. It provides irrigation in Taoyuan, flood control for the Taipei Basin, and hydroelectricity and domestic water supply for more than three million people in northern Taiwan.

Cihu Mausoleum(Opens in a new window)

Cihu Mausoleum, officially known as the Mausoleum of Late President Chiang or President Chiang Kai-shek Mausoleum is the temporary resting place of President Chiang Kai-shek. It is located in Daxi District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. When Chiang Kai-shek died in 1975, he was not buried in the traditional Chinese fashion but entombed in a black marble sarcophagus since he expressed the wish to be eventually buried in his native Fenghua in Zhejiang province once the Kuomintang (KMT) recovered mainland China from the Communists.

The Leofoo Village Theme Park is a theme park and a safari located in Guanxi Township, Hsinchu County, Taiwan. It features three roller coasters, including an inverted shuttle coaster, Screaming Condor, an Intamin twist-and-turn coaster dubbed Sahara Twist, as well as a Vekoma Roller Skater (335m) in the Wild West section of the park, Little Rattler, themed to an old mining railway. There is also the Nairobi Express, a narrow gauge railway built by Severn Lamb. The park features many other attractions of different styles and proper themed areas.

National Central University (NCU,, Kuo-Li Chung-yang Ta-hsüeh, or 中大, Chung-ta) was founded in 1915 with roots from 258 CE in mainland China. After NCU in Nanking was renamed Nanjing University in 1949, NCU was re-established in Taiwan in 1962. The school was initially located in Miaoli, but was relocated to Zhongli in 1968, and developed into a comprehensive university. It has now become Taiwan's leading school in the fields of drama, film studies, cultural studies, sex and gender studies, Hakka studies, geophysics, space science, remote sensing, astronomy, optoelectronics, nano scitech, and business management. In 2001, NCU was selected by the Ministry of Education as one of the eleven research-oriented universities in Taiwan.
