The Glauberg is a Celtic oppidum in Hesse, Germany consisting of a fortified settlement and several burial mounds, "a princely seat of the late Hallstatt and early La Tène periods." Archaeological discoveries in the 1990s place the site among the most important early Celtic centres in Europe. It provides unprecedented evidence on Celtic burial, sculpture and monumental architecture.

The Marienstiftskirche is a Lutheran three-aisled hall church in Lich, Middle Hesse, Germany. It was built between 1510 and 1537, making it the last Late Gothic hall church to be built in Hesse. The architectural style straddles the transition between Gothic and Renaissance. It is a Hessian heritage site and contains objects of national art historical significance. The neighbouring, with its historic triple peal serves as a clocktower for the Marienstiftskirche.

Arnsburg Abbey (German: Kloster Arnsburg) is a former Cistercian monastery near Lich in the Wetterau, Hesse, Germany. It was founded by monks from Eberbach Abbey in 1174. Although heavily damaged in the Thirty Years' War it was rebuilt later in the 17th century and prospered in the 18th century, when much of the abbey was rebuilt in Baroque style.

The High Vogelsberg Nature Park (German: Naturpark Hoher Vogelsberg) lies in the highlands of the Vogelsberg in the centre of the German state of Hesse. It covers the region of eleven rings around Oberwald, the central part of the mountain range, certain municipalities in the counties of Vogelsbergkreis, Wetteraukreis, Gießen and Main-Kinzig-Kreis. The park has an area of 883.36 km² and is thus roughly as large as the capital city of Berlin.
