The Tangier American Legation is a building in the medina of Tangier, Morocco. The first American public property outside the United States, it commemorates the historic cultural and diplomatic relations between the United States and the Kingdom of Morocco. It is now officially called the Tangier American Legation Institute for Moroccan Studies, and is a cultural center, museum, and a research library, concentrating on Arabic language studies.

Cape Spartel (Arabic: رأس سبارطيل) is a promontory in Morocco about 1000 ft above sea level at the entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar, 12 km West of Tangier. Below the cape are the Caves of Hercules.

The Dar-el-Makhzen (or Sultanate Palace) is a historical building in Tangier, Morocco was the seat of residence for the Sultans of Morocco when staying in the city. It was built during the reign of sultan Moulay Ismail in the 17th century. The structure was built by Ahmad ben Ali al-Rifi, general of the Jaysh al-Rifi and semi-autonomous governor of Tangiers. It was built in the Kasbah on one of the highest points of the city overlooking the Medina and the Strait of Gibraltar. Currently it is used by two museums, the Museum of Moroccan Arts and the archaeological Museum of Antiquities.

Gran Teatro Cervantes is a theatre, dedicated to Miguel Cervantes, in Tangier, Morocco. The theatre was built in 1913 by the Spanish and has undergone little renovation in the exterior, noted for its dilapidated Art Deco facade. The theatre is accessible via the Avenue Pasteur and Rue du Prince Moulay Abdallah. The theatre was once considered one of the most prestigious in North Africa and notable singers and dancers performed here. Restoration to the theatre has been delayed due to disputes between the city officials and the Spanish state.
