Lawrenceville is a city in and the county seat of Gwinnett County, Georgia, United States. It is a suburb of Atlanta, located approximately 30 mi northeast of downtown and neighbors Suwanee, Dacula, and Duluth. As of the 2020 census, the population of Lawrenceville was 30,629. In 2019, the U.S. Census Bureau estimated the city population to be 30,834.

Coolray Field (formerly known as Gwinnett Stadium) is a 10,427-seat minor league baseball park in unincorporated Gwinnett County, Georgia (with a mailing address in Lawrenceville). It is the home field of the Gwinnett Braves, the Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves.

Stone Mountain(Opens in a new window)

Stone Mountain is a quartz monzonite dome monadnock and the site of Stone Mountain Park in Stone Mountain, Georgia. At its summit, the elevation is 1686 ft MSL and 825 ft above the surrounding area. Stone Mountain is well-known not only for its geology, but also for the enormous rock relief on its north face, the largest bas-relief in the world. The carving depicts three Confederate figures during the Civil War: Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson.

The Gwinnett Historic Courthouse is an historic government building located at 185 West Crogan Street in Lawrenceville in Gwinnett County, Georgia. The original county courthouse burned in 1872. The present day Courthouse was built in 1885. It served as the center of county business for over a century. As the population of the county grew, the Courthouse could no longer handle all of the county's business. In 1988, Gwinnett County moved the majority of its operations into the new Justice and Administration Building located at 75 Langley Drive in Lawrenceville. The old Courthouse underwent a lengthy three year renovation starting in 1989. It reopened on July 3, 1992 as the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse. Today, it serves as a rental venue for weddings, concerts, conferences, and other special events. It is one of the parks maintained by the Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation Department.

Fort Yargo State Park(Opens in a new window)

Fort Yargo State Park is a 1816 acre Georgia state park located in Winder, situated between Athens and Atlanta. The park features a log fort built in 1792 by settlers, for protection against Creek and Cherokee Indians. There is a 260 acre lake with a public beach. The park also hosts Camp Will-A-Way, an accessible camp designed for individuals with developmental disabilities, in partnership with Camp Twin Lakes.
