The Twin Pagoda Temple (Chinese: 双塔寺; Pinyin: Shūangtǎsì), officially known as Yongzuo Temple (Chinese: 永祚寺; Pinyin: Yǒngzuòsì), of Taiyuan, Shanxi province, China, is a temple containing two pagodas dating from the Ming dynasty.

The Shanxi Museum is the largest museum and cultural building in the province of Shanxi, China. The museum, located in Shanxi's provincial capital Taiyuan, is home to about 400,000 cultural relics and 110,000 old books. Since March 2008, admission is free with a valid ID.

Yingze Park(Opens in a new window)

Yingze Park is located in downtown Taiyuan, Shanxi, China. It was opened to the public on June 1, 1957 and covers 63.28 hectares including its lake. It has over 390,000 ornamental plants in more than 10 gardens. Near the east gate is the Jin Merchant Museum, in the style of an ancient guild hall. In the park's center is the Cangjing Building, an 800-year-old structure transported from the Dongda Temple in Taigu. The north gate of the park features an ornate archway called "Beauty of Taiyuan" based on the style of the Yonghe Lama Temple in Beijing. The park also has recreational boating, arcade games, and children's playgrounds.

The Jinci or Jin Temple (晉祠) is the most prominent temple complex in Shanxi, China. It is located 16 miles (25 km) southwest of Taiyuan at the foot of Xuanweng Mountain at the Jin Springs. It was founded about 1,400 years ago and expanded during the following centuries, resulting in a diverse collection of more than 100 sculptures, buildings, terraces, and bridges.
