> Rome2Rio is a global trip planning search engine covering flights, trains, buses, ferries, driving, and more across 160+ countries. Our goal is to show travellers every way to get from A to B — with prices, timetables, and booking options from thousands of operators — in a single search.

## How the site works

Rome2Rio is a **search and discovery product**. Users search for routes, explore options, and are directed to operator or OTA booking pages to complete their purchase. There is no checkout flow on Rome2Rio itself. However, users can create a free account to save searches, access personalised recommendations, and manage preferences.

The heart of the product. Each page covers a specific origin–destination pair and shows all travel modes (flight, train, bus, ferry, drive, etc.) with indicative prices, durations, and operator names. These pages are generated for millions of O&D pairs globally.
