I want to change or cancel my ticket

Depending on your ticket type, this is easy! You can make changes to your Rome2rio reservation on the following Amtrak website: https://www.amtrak.com/changing-reservations

Step 1: Select ‘Modify Trip’ on the left menu, and type your 6-character Amtrak reservation number, and your email address. Click ‘Find’.

Step 2: Select from ‘Modify Trip’ or ‘Cancel Trip’ on the top of the menu, and you will be guided through the rest of the process. You will also be advised if your change/cancellation will incur any costs.

What happens if my train is cancelled or delayed?

Amtrak may, without notice, cancel, terminate, divert, postpone or delay any train without liability except to issue a refund. Conditions apply.

What happens if I miss my train due to a personal emergency?
