Who we’re looking for
We are looking for somebody with experience in a startup or tech environment that has an understanding of agile philosophies and processes. Demonstrable experience in either recruiting or generalist HR is essential and having experience in both fields is most desirable. A get-stuff-done attitude and willingness to take on any project big or small with enthusiasm is also desired. A passion for travel and/or technology would be an advantage as would a fondness for organised chaos.
You should be capable of working independently and driving projects, whilst also working closely with others. You’re a great communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills and with the insight to recognise opportunities for improvements to our processes and can communicate these ideas to our executive team.
Some technical ability and familiarity with using enterprise software systems is an advantage. We are after somebody who isn’t afraid of Excel and can tinker with content management systems. A knowledge of Xero and recruiting software such as Jazz is advantageous. A passion for quality work and improving the Rome2rio employee experience is essential.
You must be based in Melbourne. To be considered for this role you must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or have full Australian working rights.
